Lubbock water park open under new ownership

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock Water Rampage is now open just in time for the water fanatics to enjoy their summer.

What was once Texas Water Rampage is now under new ownership. Texas Water Rampage closed down May of 2008 due to lack of funds for the refurbishment of the park.

The new owners have renamed the park and renewed and repaired the equipment to get everything up to code.

The water park, located at the intersection of Milwaukee and Brownfield Highway, will be open Monday, June 1st at 1:00 p.m. for their first day of business as Lubbock Water Rampage. The regular business hours will be 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily until September 20th.

The admission is $15 per person, with family packs and season passes available.

For more information, call (806) 771-5953 or go to www.lubbockwaterrampage.com.
