LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Recently, there have been a few car break-ins at the parking lot near Legacy Play Village.

We-C-U Security provides the park's security cameras. They, along with the park's Board of Directors, are donating the park's cameras to try to help solve the problem. WE-C-U Security will activate the cameras by day now and not just at night.

The parking lot is City of Lubbock property, not Legacy Play Village's, but Craig Finlayson, President of the park's board says he is very concerned about the break-ins and wants to help law enforcement in any way he can.

Finlayson also says these break-ins happen all over the city, and no matter where you are the best way to prevent a break-in is make sure you don't leave any purses or valuable items inside your vehicle.
