Work requires overnight closure of Frankford Avenue

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Some road work in southwest Lubbock may affect your daily commute this week.

This affects the Frankford Avenue and Spur 327 intersection which is where road crews will apply the final street surface. North and south bound traffic on Frankford will have to find an alternate route, while access road traffic will be detoured to the overpass. This also means Spur traffic will not be able to turn off onto Frankford.

The intersection is scheduled to close at 7 p.m. Tuesday, and reopen at 7 a.m. Wednesday. The work will be completed, weather permitting.
