Podiatrists advise that you take your feet in for a check-up once you hit 75,000 miles. An easy way to estimate the number of miles you have walked is to multiply your age by 4.3 and by 365 days.
That total will equal the number of miles you've walked to that point. At your 75,000 mile check-up several things should be examined:
- The fat pad at the bottom of the foot
- Check for bunions
- Check for arthritis
- Check nail conditions
