Montelongo Pool opens to huge swim party

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Wednesday was Montelongo's 7th Annual Pool Party at the new Montelongo Pool at Rogers Park.

Every year, Montelongo's Restaurant hosts a free swim party to celebrate a successful school year, and to continue a tradition started by the pool's namesake, Petrita Montelongo. Last year, more than 2200 children came out to the pool party.
