LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock Police need your help to catch a home burglar suspected in several recent crimes. Authorities say he could be dangerous and it's time to take him off the streets again.

Authorities need to find Ernest Zavala Jr., 26.  If you think his face looks familiar, you're right. Authorities captured him a year ago, wanted in connection to a home burglary ring busted open in May of 2008. Investigators recovered thousands of dollars worth of stolen goods at that time. They arrested Zavala on an unrelated warrant, but he bonded out and ran before they could file additional charges.

Then, in June of last year, police picked him up in central Lubbock. We moved him to the captured wall, but now, he's back on the streets, and investigators suspect he's up to his old tricks. Zavala is wanted for burglary of a habitation, but again police says he could be connected to more crimes.

Here's the reason for caution, Zavala was convicted of causing serious bodily injury to a family member back in 2003, so authorities say he could pose a danger. If you know where Zavala is, or how to find him, call Crime Line right now at (806) 741-1000.

Zavala goes onto the wanted wall again. Your call could be the one that moves him to the captured wall for a second time.  One call can make a difference.
