LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Food and Drug Administration says it will take another look at Bisphenol-A to see if it's safe.
BPA is used to harden plastics and is found in a variety of products like baby bottles. The chemical has been linked to heart disease and cancer in lab animals and it's been found in the urine of 93% of Americans tested, but what effect it might have on humans is unclear. Even so, the FDA has asked for another review of BPA, which could take several months.
