LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Saturday will mark the 65th Anniversary of a major turning point in World War II, D-Day.
On June 6, 1944, the Allied forces invaded Normandy, France by sea and air with the largest invasion force ever assembled. The Silent Wings Museum will commemorate D-Day with two days of events, including the World War II Airborne Demonstration Team.
Events will be Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
