Man Indicted for Capital Murder 15 Years After Crime

On Friday a Lubbock Grand Jury handed down a capital murder indictment 15 years after the crime. In 1988 Damon Richardson was convicted for ordering the shooting deaths of 22-year-old Napolean Ellison, 32-year-old Vivian Webb, and 25-year-old Quinnie Smith. But, Texas' highest appeals court overturned the conviction and ordered a new trial.

So, Friday a new grand jury indicted Richardson, but only for the deaths of Ellison and Webb. He is currently being held on $1 million bond.
