Children's Miracle Network raises over $1 Million in '09

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - NewsChannel 11 wants to say "Thank you" to the people of the South Plains for making the Children's Miracle Network Telethon 2009 another successful year.

Thanks to your donations, the telethon raised $1,005,805 over the weekend. The money raised will go towards state-of-the-art medical equipment, excellent medical care and research at the Children's Hospital at University Medical Center.

NewsChannel 11 wants to also thank you for helping raise over $12 Million over the past 26 years.
