LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - If you have plans to light up the sky on the 4th of July, Lubbock County Commissioners say it's ok.

They met Monday morning and took no action to restrict any type of aerial fireworks. So bottle rockets will be allowed outside the Lubbock city limits.

Fireworks stands will open for business, just before the holiday.
