Tech Splits Doubleheader at Wyoming

Cisti Greenwalt had a career high 26 points and eight blocked shots to lead #10 Texas Tech to an 84 - 64 win over Wyoming on Saturday. Greenwalt, a 6' 5" sophomore, shot 10-for-13 from the floor and finished with seven rebounds for the Lady Raiders.

Plenette Pierson and Jia Perkins each added 14 for Tech. Ashley Elliott scored 18 points to lead Wyoming, which shot 16% in the first half. Carrie Bacon added 16 points and Ann McColl had 10. The Raiders shot 56% for the game. Wyoming shot 32%.

On the men's side, Jay Straight scored 13 points and hit a key three-pointer down the stretch as Wyoming handed Texas Tech its first loss 67 - 62 on Saturday. Marc Bailey added 12 points and Donta Richardson 11 for the Cowboys. Kasib Powell and Andre Emmett each had 20 points for Texas Tech.
