Overnight stabbing at Lubbock motel

Lubbock, TX (KCBD) - Police say a fight at a Lubbock motel ended when one man stabbed another with a screw driver. So far, the suspect remains on the loose. Officers responded to the Executive Inn on Avenue Q just after four o'clock Tuesday morning.

EMS took the victim, 24-year-old Antonio Sanchez, to University Medical Center with serious injuries.  Investigators say he suffered puncture wounds, but they do not believe they're life threatening.

Authorities tell us the suspect is described as a White man, 5'8" tall and 185 pounds.  If you have any information about this stabbing, call crime line at 741-1000.
