Texas 4000 for Cancer team biking through Lubbock Wednesday

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Sense Corp Texas 4000 for Cancer team started their 70-day journey from Austin to Alaska and their fight against cancer on June 6th, and will be biking their way through Lubbock on Wednesday.

The bikers will be riding along the Slaton Highway to 19th and Buddy Holly, then to 16th and Texas. They will be staying the night in Lubbock.

The group is raising money for cancer research. So far, Texas 4000 for Cancer has raised over 1,411,250.00 to fight cancer! The donations benefit Texas 4000 for Cancer, The MD Anderson Cancer Center, and the Children's Cancer Center.

The ride will include a 50 or 70 mile route of amazing views, gently rolling hills, Texas wildlife, and ends at the beautiful Texas Legato Winery & Vineyards!
