Former Lubbock Police Officer Wants His Job Back So He Can Quit

A former Lubbock Police officer wants his job back so he can resign. Nicholas Medina was suspended from the police force last January. He was accused of using too much force during two arrests last year. But, Medina went to court and a jury found him not guilty of that crime. Now, he wants to be re-instated to the Lubbock police force so he can leave on his terms and get another job somewhere else.

Medina also wants back pay for the year he's been absent from work. The arbitration hearing is expected to last for another day.
