Two car collision kills one in Gaines County - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

GANES COUNTY, TEXAS (KCBD) - A Denver City man remained in critical condition at Covenant Medical Center Wednesday night, following a fatal accident Tuesday night in Gaines County. 

Investigators with the Department of Public Safety tell NewsChannel 11 that Jose Hernandez, 27 was west bound on Highway 83 around 7:00 p.m. Tuesday when he drifted into the eastbound lane and collided with a pick-up driven by Daniel Cervantes, 44 of Seagraves. Cervantes was pronounced dead at the scene.
