Dickens County Jail Escapee Captured

The inmate who escaped from a Dickens County Correctional Facility has been captured.

31-year-old Scotty Dean Justice escaped around 8:30 Monday night. He was captured a few hours later in Lubbock at an apartment complex located off of 4th Street and Toledo, according to U.S. Marshall Ronnie O'Neal.

Justice, who is from shallowater, was jailed on a probation violation weapons charge. Authorities believed he was headed to Lubbock with his common law wife Sandra Aleman, and Jamie Bird Taylor. The U.S. Marshall's Office has not released the names of the people who assisted Justice in his escape.

Right now Justice is in the Lubbock County Jail. O'Neal says he will face more charges for escaping.
