Tony "The Gun" Bonello opens MMA gym in Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - With Mixed Martial Arts the fastest growing sport in the U.S., it seems to be growing here in West Texas as another gym has opened in the Hub City.

Tony "The Gun" Bonello is from Australia, having trained in Asia and Brazil. He came over to the U.S. for 2 weeks for a fight in Las Vegas. He ended up meeting and marrying a woman from Shallowater. She was homesick so they recently moved to West Texas.

Tony has opened "The Gun Fight Club" on 19th Street right down from Lubbock High School. You may have Seen Bonello on MTV's Bully Beatdown or in the cage where he holds a 16-1-1 record. He already seems to love Lubbock! Welcome to town mate!!!
