LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Yellowhouse Machinery is celebrating its 50th anniversary along with the grand opening of a new 47,000-square-foot building in Lubbock. To bring in customers to check out their new facility, Yellowhouse hosted a rodeo Saturday to let possible buyers test out their equipment

"We get contractors from all over the area that come in and their operators run these machines. We're going to give them cash prizes and it's going to be a lot of fun," Yellowhouse Machinery Vice President Mike Kerr said.

A few girls there were showing the boys a thing or two about operating the machinery. Coming up on NewsChannel 11 at ten we'll look into the 50 year history of Yellowhouse machinery and why they decided to upgrade buildings in this down fall economy.
