Lubbock Police Officer Cleared Following Fatal Crash

A follow up to the fatal collision that involved a Lubbock police car, ten days ago. Twenty nine-year-old Officer Travis Riddle has been cleared of any wrongdoing in the crash that killed 15-year-old Courtney Bosler.

Police say, Bosler's mother, 41-year-old Teresa Cameron of Lubbock, failed to yield the right of way as she turned from Parkway on to M.L.K. Boulevard. That's when the police cruiser, driven by Officer Riddle, struck the passenger side of Bosler's car.

As of Tuesday evening, Cameron remains in satisfactory condition at University Medical Center. Her 13-year-old son, Cameron Bosler, was also injured in the crash. He has since been released.
