Prisoners are under lockdown at the Giles W. Dalby Correctional facility in Post. The lockdown comes after reported rumors of a possible demonstration being planned by inmates.
As NewsChannel 11 first told you Tuesday night, three or four of the inmates may have started the rumor. So, the warden put the facility under lock down as a preventative security measure. This means, prisoners must stay in their cells until officials search every cell and interview every inmate.
This process could take several days because there are more than 1,000 inmates.
