Police arrest three suspects in early morning shooting

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Police are investigating an early morning shooting at a night club in East Lubbock.

Investigators say Prescella Gomez, 25, was shot in the leg around 4:20 a.m. Thursday at the Desperadoz night club at 34th and Avenue A.

The police were in search of a small red passenger car that was suspected of being involved in the shooting. Officers located the vehicle and two suspects were arrested at 36th and Magnolia. Another suspect was captured in the 2500 block of 50th Street after being seen fleeing the area.

As of Thursday evening, Mark and Christopher Lazo remain in the Lubbock County jail charged with aggravated assault.

Gomez was treated and released from Covenant Medical Center.
