Today Throws a Wedding finalist asks for your help - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Leigh Daniel and Nick Cordes are a finalist on Today Throws a Wedding, and they visited Daybreak Today Thursday morning to talk about their experience on the Today Show.

Every summer The Today Show hosts Today Throws a Wedding where you, the viewers, get to pick every detail. This year a Lubbock native and her fiancé have made it to the final three just two exciting steps away from being married by Matt, Meredith, Al, and Ann in front a national audience.

After the first elimination, they are now in the top three, after saying goodbye to one of the couples.

Each Wednesday the couple performs in a challenge and the winner of the challenge gets to pick out an aspect of the wedding.

But the winning couple will be determined by votes from you the viewers.

TODAY Throws a Wedding: Vote for Nick Cordes & Leigh Daniel, TTU graduate & Lubbock native Leigh Daniel, 30, is a Lubbock native and graduate of Monterey High School. As a Red Raider, she was an award winning track star, who also brought home a gold medal from the World University Games in 1999.
