Accident Spills Cotton Across Highway 84

Shallowater firefighters and DPS troopers spent several hours on Thursday morning picking up cotton after a cotton module transport truck and a semi collided. It happened around 10 a.m. on Highway 84 near Shallowater.

The collision spilled several bales of cotton across the road and caused traffic to be diverted. It took workers until after 2 p.m. to clean up the mess.
