LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Kids aren't going to like this, but you may need to throw out the cookie dough in your refrigerator. Nestle is voluntarily recalling its toll house refrigerated cookie dough products out of concern for e-coli.
The FDA and CDC are investigating complaints of illness after eating raw cookie dough. Nestle officials say there's already a warning on the label not to eat it before it's cooked. But to be safe, they are asking consumers to take Nestle cookie dough products back to your local grocery store for a full refund.
The recall includes refrigerated cookie bar dough, cookie dough tub, cookie dough tubes, limited edition cookie dough items, seasonal cookie dough and Ultimate's cookie bar dough.
