Samantha Tedford - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Samantha Tedford is an avid reader of fiction literature. She also ardently loves creative writing. She has competed at the State UIL meet in Austin in Ready Writing and Literary Criticism. She adores music and playing piano. She plays keyboard for her church choir every Sunday. Last year, she also had the honor of performing at the State UIL Solo and Ensemble Contest in Solo Piano. This year she was President of her Student Council, National Honor Society, and FBLA chapters. She also participated in FFA, Spanish Club, FCA, and One Act Play. She was active in varsity cross-country, tennis, and Trampoline and Tumbling through Acrospirits. This summer she will compete in the Junior Olympic National Championships for Trampoline. In the Fall she will be an English major in the Liberal Arts Honors Program and a Chemical Engineering major at the University of Texas-Austin.
