Ethan Morman is the CHS 2012 Valedictorian. His final grade point average is 4.902. He attended Preston Smith Elementary and O.L. Slaton Middle School. Ethan is a member of National Honor Society and a National Merit Commended Scholar. As a freshman and sophomore, Ethan played on the CHS tennis team. During his junior and senior years, Ethan was a member of UIL Current Events and Social Studies teams. Ethan participated in the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce "New Century Leadership" program and is a member of Sunset Church of Christ.
Ethan will attend Abilene Christian University. His scholarships include the ACU Presidential Scholarship, ACU Honors Fellow Scholarship, ACU National Merit Commended Scholarship, Coronado National Honor Society Scholarship, David Shelburne LTC Scholarship, and SPEC Operation Round-Up Scholarship. His proposed field of study is Biology. He plans to pursue a career in Medicine. Ethan is the son of Emma and Rusty Morman.
