Alexandra Gardner

Parents Daughter of Dr. John and Noreen Hanna

Kristen earned recognition from P.A.C.E. in Spanish, Biology and English, and received Who's Who recognition in Chemistry, Spanish II, and Accounting. She placed in the Howard Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C. Kristen earned awards in Pre-AP Biology, Pre-AP Chemistry, Health, and Honors English III. She earned a blue ribbon at the Foreign Language Festival. Kristen won second place in district in girl's doubles tennis. In her piano studies, Kristen was a National Guild participant, earned gold ribbons for ten years in the Sonatina Festival, performed in Piano Ensemble at the State Convention for two years, and earned a gold medal in the Whitlock Theory Test for three years.

Kristen served as the National Honor Society president, was in the Spanish club for four years, and the Youth Chamber of Commerce for three years, currently serving as vice-president. She was also a member of the Thespian Society for two years serving as Junior Senator and Historian, was a member of the Chess Club for a year, Youth Alive for three years, choir for one year, One-Act Play cast for two years, played varsity tennis for two years, and was involved in UIL competition.

She plans on attending BYU, Provo, Utah, in the fall, majoring in computer science or studying to be a genetic engineer, with a minor in music. She also wants to be study abroad for a semester.
