Joseph is the son of Edward & Mary Pekowski of Lubbock. Joseph was a member of the varsity cross country and varsity track teams for the all four years of high school. He was also a member of the National Honor Society and was the Student Council President this year. He received many awards throughout his senior year including the Mu Beta Kappa Math Award at the South Plains Regional Science & Engineering Fair, 2012 Prom King, Mr. CTK, and the Monsignor Fitzgerald Award, a recognition awarded to him by his teachers. He plans on attending Texas Tech University and majoring in Criminology. GPA: 4.22
