Tyler Bushong

Tyler was a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, and Principal's Council. He played varsity football for four years where he was named to the first team all-district as center, defensive end and was academic all-state. He ran track and was the 100 meter dash district champion. He was on the 400 meter, 800 meter and 1600 meter relay teams. In the past two years he earned 13 gold medals, eight silver medals and seven bronze. He was captain of the basketball team his senior year. Tyler was on the entomology team in FFA placing second in state two years running. Tyler was chosen as a High School Aerospace Scholar by NASA. He is a distinguished honor graduate and has completed 25 college hours with a perfect 4.0 GPA. He will attend the University of Texas and major in engineering. He is the son of Tony and Sara Bushong.
