Jeanette Torres

Jeanette participated in cross country, basketball, track, cheerleading, UIL, journalism, One Act Play, FFA, student council and the National Honor Society. In FFA, she was on the four-year state qualifying chapter conducting team. She also competed in Dairy Foods and Cotton Judging. In basketball, Jeanette received New Comer of the Year her freshman year. She was chosen first team all district, first team all-region, first team all state, all state academic team, district defensive MVP and District Most Valuable Player. She qualified for the regional meet in cross country and has competed in regional track all four years of high school. Jeanette was chosen Miss KHS, Most Likely to Succeed and was named homecoming queen. She plans to attend Lubbock Christian University and major in pre-med. Her parents are Saul Torres and Doty Huff.
