Police says suspicious envelope not hazardous - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock Police say a suspicious envelope found in south Lubbock Thursday is not a cause for concern.  Hazmat, police and fire crews all responded to a scene near 82nd and Boston Thursday evening. 

A suspicious envelope was found in the area with a white powder inside. Friday, Lubbock Police Captain Greg Stevens told NewsChannel 11 the substance is not hazardous, but they still have not determined what it is.
