Operation Holiday Begins on Texas Roads

The Department of Public Safety wants you to know that Operation Holiday begins at midnight on Monday. Officers will be out in full force from Tuesday until Sunday to make sure that drivers are obeying the speed limit, wearing their seatbelts, and not driving drunk.

"We hope folks will make choices as the holidays come through, that they will wear seatbelts and make sure that their kids are buckled up properly, and that if they do drink they make some wise choices of not to drive, or hand the keys to somebody else that has not been drinking," says Corporal John Gonzalez, DPS.
