After the presents are unwrapped and the decorations have been taken off, the City of Lubbock is asking that you recycle your Christmas tree. You can drop your tree off at the following locations:
Southside Recycling Center at 1631 84th St.
Northside Recycling Center located at 208 Municipal Drive
Elmwood Recycling Center at 2002 Elmwood
Holland Gardens at 3739 50th St.
Starting Thursday December 26th through January 7th, roll-off containers will be at each of the locations. Trees will be ground up into mulch, which is available to city residents at the drop-off centers.
