Car Accident turns out the lights for local business

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A car accident in Central Lubbock left a fast-food restaurant in the dark this afternoon.

A pick-up collided with a utility pole around 1 p.m. Saturday near 50th and Avenue Q. The crash broke the pole in half. Luckily, no one had any serious injuries, but it did cause some problems for the nearby Whataburger who lost half of the power to their building.
