City Council to choose interim attorney on Tuesday

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock city council meets Tuesday in special session. 

The council is expected to appoint Mitchell Satterwhite as the interim city attorney. If so, Satterwhite will take over for Don Vandiver who announced his retirement earlier this month, citing medical issues. 

Vandiver was appointed after the departure of Anita Burgess who took a job as the Denton City Attorney in mid August of 2008.
