Tech regents to take up tuition Monday

By James Clark | email

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A special meeting for the Texas Tech Board of Regents is set for Monday afternoon.  The agenda includes setting tuition fees for Texas Tech University and Angelo State Universtiy.   The regents will also consider changing the rules for handling investments and endowments.

On May 6th, NewChannel 11 broke the story that Texas Tech stands to lose between $4 million and $5 million in the infamous Bernie Madoff ponzi scheme.  Tech did not invest with Madoff.  Instead Tech invested with another man, who in turn invested with Madoff.
