LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A police chase that started in Garza county ended just before 11:00 p.m. Sunday night in Lubbock County.
The Garza County sheriff's office says the chase began around 10:20 p.m. Sunday night when 18-year-old Joseph Rodriguez fled the Town & Country convenience store in Post, TX without paying for his gasoline and almost hitting a patrol car
The chase ended when Rodriguez's car crashed into a fence at chaparral Motors at 3rd and Avenue Q in Lubbock after Garza County deputies and DPS troopers flattened his tires with road spikes.
Rodriguez was treated for minor injuries and then taken back to Garza County to face charges.
