Sunday motorcycle crash becomes deadly

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A motorcyclist involved in an accident in Southwest Lubbock Sunday, has died.  Thomas Burrus, 53, died Monday afternoon at University Medical Center. 

Lubbock police say Burrus was not wearing a helmet when his motorcycle and an SUV collided near 58th and Frankford just after 4:30 p.m. Sunday. The investigation continues into this accident.
