Thursday is the busiest travel day in December.  "All airlines are reporting that their flights are booked full today, but as far as the operation goes, flights are running on time and we just recommend people get to the airport an hour, hour and a half before their flight," says John McGinley, Deputy Director for Operations and Safety at Lubbock International Airport. 

McGinley says if you are expecting to travel this weekend, things should be back to normal by then.
