Help authorities locate two burglary suspects

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Wolfforth authorities call on NewsChannel 11's Most Wanted to help identify two burglary suspects who broke into a local business.  Surveillance cameras caught both suspects in the act around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday.

They broke into JJ's Fast Stop along the Brownfield Highway in Wolfforth.  Now, investigators hope you can identify the suspects.  We do not know their names, but we do know one of the suspects had on some unique clothing during the burglary. Authorities hope someone could recognize it as well.

"They picked up a brick on the side of the building and busted out the front glass door," Wolfforth Police Detective Sean Cole said.  That's when cameras caught both suspects in the act, but police say they didn't hit the register. "We were able to see two suspects enter the store. One of the suspects took a package of cigarettes. The other went to the area where the beer is stored. They ended up taking a 20 pack of beer," Cole said.

Store owner Jamie Burns says, ironically, what the suspects took is worth less than what they destroyed to get in, but Burn's says that's not all she lost. "An invasion of your privacy for them to be in there when they're not supposed to be," Burns said.

Authorities say it appears the suspects walked to the store, so there is not suspect vehicle description. Both had their faces covered, but one of the suspects is wearing a distinctive red winter cap with hearts.  Investigators say these two could be responsible for other break-ins. "We're also looking at these suspects as possible suspects in two other burglaries that happened in the same area," Cole said.

These suspects may have been seen leaving the scene of the burglary around 2:30 a.m Wednesday carrying a 20-pack of beer and a few packs of cigarettes. If you know who the suspects are, call Wolfforth Police at (806) 866-4605(Click Here) to report your tips online.
