LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The man arrested after Lubbock police say he hit a worker in a southeast Lubbock field Wednesday was admitted to the hospital.
Billy Green, 53, was listed in satisfactory condition Thursday at University Medical Center. Police say he was released to the hospital pending the filing of charges. Investigators say they are awaiting toxicology results to determine if alcohol or drugs played a role in the incident.
Authorities say Green drove his pick-up off of East 82nd Street into a neighboring field and starting driving in circles, when he struck a field worker.
The victim, John Ybarra, 23, was listed in serious condition at last report.
