RECALL: Inflatable baby floats

Posted: Updated:

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Before you head to the pool this holiday, you should know that 4 million inflatable baby floats have been recalled because of a drowning hazard.

The government has issued a voluntary recall of 14 different float models - all made by Aqua-Leisure Industries. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says the leg straps in the seat of the floats can tear, causing kids to unexpectedly fall into the water.

The CPSC says there have been 31 reports of that happening, but so far, no injuries. You can find the exact model information by (clicking here).
