Bob Craig of Lubbock gains second endorsement

By James Clark | email

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock attorney Bob Craig is endorsed for a second time to possibly become the next chairman of the Texas Board of Education.

The first public endorsement came from board member, Patricia Hardy of Fort Worth. Now the Houston Chronicle has endorsed Craig in an online editorial (click here).

So, NewsChannel 11 asked Craig if he would like to become the next chairman. "There are 15 members on the board, and then the chairman of the board is appointed by the Governor so that's up to the Governor," said Craig.  "I'll just leave it at that."
