LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Consumer Product Safety Commission says several brands and models of play-yards distributed by Kolcraft Enterprises are involved in a voluntary recall by the manufacturer. The CPSC has received reports of injuries to children because the side rail latch popped open, causing the play-yards to collapse.
Some of the brands involved in the recall include Kolcraft, Contours, Sesame Street, Carter's, and Jeep play-yards. Kolcraft is offering free repair kits to repair the defective latches. For more information on this recall, click on either one of these links: www.kolcraft.com or www.cpsc.gov.
