LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Good news from Lubbock's major water supplier, CRMWA, or the Canadian River Municipal Water Authority. CRMWA uses both water well fields and Lake Meredith to supply Lubbock plus ten other West Texas cities with water.
According to the Plainview Daily Herald, the CRMWA board approved bids for water well projects well below cost. So now, the left over money will be used to drill 15 water wells instead of six. It will also allow for a new 54 inch pipeline, instead of a 48 inch pipeline as part of the same water well project.
