Stabbing in Northeast Lubbock, sends one to UMC

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - One man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries Friday after a stabbing in Northeast Lubbock. 

The incident happened around 7:30 Friday night in the 500 block of North Niter Street. Police tell us the victim was giving some men a ride, when somewhere along the way one of the men stabbed him in the abdomen. The suspect fled on foot, and the victim was taken to University Medical Center in stable condition.
