LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Fire fighters worked hard Friday night to put out a fire called out around 11 p.m. on King Avenue, a few blocks Southwest of 34th Street and Martin Luther King Boulevard.
The fire reached above tree level before crews could put it out. Law enforcement blocked off surrounding streets while fire fighters fought the blaze, which destroyed the house. Luckily, the house was vacant at the time of the fire.
The fire department has not yet released a cause.
