LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock police have released new information about a Friday evening stabbing case.  Police identify the stabbing victim as Sanacisco Guzman.

They say his injuries were not life threatening.  Also police identify the suspect as Rolando Rodriguez.  A written statement says the two men were drinking at a mutual friend's house in the 500 block of North Niter.

That same statement also says during an argument and physical altercation, Rodriguez used a pocket knife on Guzman.  As of Sunday evening, online jail records indicate Rodriguez' bond has not been set.
