ATF investigating egg farm fire near Farwell

FARWELL, TX (KCBD) - ATF Special Agents are investigating last week's fire at an egg production plant. 

On July 9th, a fire broke out at the Cal-Maine Foods Egg Plant near Farwell. An estimated 800,000 chickens died.

A statement Tuesday from the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms says damages are estimated to be $20 million. So an ATF National response team has joined the Special Agents based in Lubbock.
